Our Vision
Why does Bubbly Maths & Science exist?

Bubbly Maths & Science – Mission & Vision
At Bubbly Maths & Science, we believe learning should spark excitement, wonder and joy. Our vision is to ignite a lifelong curiosity in every child—because when children are curious, they don’t just learn… they love learning.
Our mission is simple but powerful:
to make maths and science fun for every child on Earth.
We bring learning to life through exciting shows, hands-on exploration, playful discovery, and the magic of the unexpected. From mind-bending geometric puzzles to the fascinating science of bubbles, we turn everyday moments into extraordinary learning experiences—fuelled by one thing: questions.
Because science begins with curiosity…
How did you do that? What if……? Let’s see what will happen next?
Children are naturally drawn to soap bubbles and balloons—and we use that excitement as a gateway into deeper thinking. Our interactive shows and workshops capture attention instantly, then channel that energy into meaningful learning.
Have you spotted the theme yet?
FUN!
We are passionate about inclusion, and our approach works especially well in SEND settings. Our activities are designed to be low entry, high ceiling, meaning every child can access the experience at their own level while still being challenged to think, explore, and succeed. Through visual, hands-on, and sensory-rich learning, we create opportunities for all learners to engage, build confidence, and experience the joy of discovery—because every child deserves to feel successful in maths and science.
Our engaging STEM (STEAM) workshops and shows are designed for children aged 3–11, whether in schools, homes, festivals, or fairs and they work well for family audiences. We blend education with entertainment—what we proudly call “edutainment”—to create unforgettable experiences that inspire, excite, and stick.
Because when learning feels like play, curiosity takes over… and that’s where the real magic happens.
The Bubbly Maths Team

Caroline “Bubblz” Ainslie
Founder
Caroline is the founder of Bubbly Maths. She is an award-winning mathematical entertainer and Guinness World Records title holder. Caroline originally trained as an electronics engineer before turning her passion for mathematics into a mission. She established Bubbly Maths in 2005 and since then, has dedicated herself to the vision of reaching every child on Earth and helping them move from “hating maths” to “loving maths”. With the creation of the Bubbly Science show, the vision has expanded to include science

With Bubbly Maths, Caroline has personally delivered shows, workshops and talks to over 300,000 children around the world. The show use giant balloons, soap bubbles and playful mathematics and science to engage learners from age 3 to 12 and beyond. She is deeply committed to outreach and education equity. Bubbly Maths supports the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences School Enrichment Centre (AIMSSEC) in South Africa and Caroline climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for AIMSSEC teacher bursaries. Bubbly Maths uses world-record attempts as fund raisers as well as fun and visible mathematical challenges.

Frank Wurzinger
Bubbly Maths Entertainer
Frank Wurzinger is a dynamic performer and mathematical entertainer for Bubbly Maths. Frank specialises in combining physical theatre, clowning and playful mathematics to bring joy and discovery into learning. With a performance career spanning solo theatre shows such as Confetti Maker and Goodbye Gunther, Frank brings his expertise in visual theatre, mime, improv and movement into the educational sphere.

Through his work with Bubbly Maths, he has been helping children shift from maths-anxiety to mathematical curiosity by making abstract concepts tangible, fun and memorable.
Over more than ten years as a Bubbly Maths entertainer, Frank has contributed to workshops and performances that use giant soap bubbles, balloons and interactive theatre techniques to explore shape, space, measurement and problem-solving. His background in theatre and clowning gives him a unique ability to invite participation, laughter and wonder — making mathematics a lived, joyful experience rather than a subject to be endured. Whether teaching teachers, engaging pupils in primary schools or facilitating family events, his mission is to help learners feel like mathematicians rather than simply do maths.

Evette Franklin
Communications Manager
Evette has been a key part of the team at Bubbly Maths since 2011, initially joining as a freelancer handling administration and communications. She quickly embraced the company’s vision to transform how children experience mathematics, and by 2013 had taken on the role of Communications Manager. Her role sees her shaping the external voice of Bubbly Maths—handling everything from managing social-media engagement, to creating content that communicates the company’s mission (“every child loving maths”) and working across internal teams to ensure consistent, inspiring messaging.
In her capacity as Communications Manager, Evette also plays a strategic role in advancing Bubbly Maths’ outreach and educational goals. She helps to build partnerships, supports campaign work that connects with schools, families and educators, and ensures that the brand experience—whether via workshops, shows or online content—reflects Bubbly Maths’ playful, inclusive and transformative approach to mathematics. Her dedication to the mission of making maths fun for every child means she contributes significantly behind the scenes to the impact of the programmes.
